THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of it's many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys and lush green grass.

When a beloved Gordon dies, they go to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.

There is only one thing missing. They are not with the special person who loved them on earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one runs from the group!!!!

You have been seen! And when you and your special Gordon meet, you take them in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting Gordon.

You then cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never to be separated again.

BELOVED GORDONS AT THE BRIDGE:

"Sam"
August 13, 1993-May 20, 2007

Oh Sammy boy we miss:
Your toy-in-mouth greeting at the back door
The click of your feet on the hardwood floor
Those long black ears, begging to be scratched
Your leap for the ball-making the catch!
YOur silly romp, your canter in the yard
Our good night's sleep with you on guard
Your gentle nudge, wanting more pats
Your hair on end near the neighbor's cats
Your chasing after seagulls on the beach
Your lunging for the squirrels just out of reach
The list goes on and on-beyond measure!
Oh Sammy boy, those memories we treasure.
Good-bye Gorgeous.
See you when we cross that bright celestial stream together.

CH. SCIMITAR'S DANGER BLUEWIN JH
JAN 14, 1994-OCT 13, 2007

When I got you at 7 months of age you were the ugliest Gordon I had ever seen. But like the ugly duckling you grew into one very handsome boy. You had some big paws to fill and you filled those paws far beyond my expectations and dreams. You were great with our grandkids, especially Ashley, who you stuck too like Velcro and your grandkids, especially Beni.

We miss you Meat-Too
